Our primary focus is on developing the skills of each individual player, from the beginner to the seasoned athlete. We hold training sessions on Sundays all year round, with the exception of major holidays. We also have weeknight sessions which gives us the opportunity to implement team concepts and defensive strategies into our workouts and gives our players the option to train up to 3 times per week.
TC Hoops holds tryouts for those players interested in playing on an organized traveling team. We will use those team settings to further each player‘s knowledge of the game and individual skill level. Trying out for a team is NOT a requirement for being a part of TC Hoops Basketball Club. Our primary focus will always be on the development of the individual player. Our goal is to prepare each player for their Junior High, High School or College team.
In addition to our trainings at St. Andrew Lutheran Church gym, we also organize skills clinics for schools in our area. We will come to your gym and conduct closed training sessions for your school team or we can open the sessions to the whole student body and the general public. These clinics are a good way to raise a little money for your school’s team or athletic program. If interested, check with us for more details.
Trainings are held at 804 N. Cape Rock Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. The gym is located inside the Launhardt Activity Center which is located in the rear of the property behind the church building. You can enter either the Cape Rock Drive or Kingshighway entrances.

2:30-4:00 - 2030 & 2031 team
Mondays:
5:00-6:30 - Little Hoopers - 5th grade and younger boys and girls skills training
6:30-8:00 - 6th grade and older open training
Thursdays:
5:00-6:30 - 2032 team
6:30-8:00 - 2030 and 2031 teams

Our workouts focus on improving each player’s individual skills. We work on fundamentals with all our players, adjusting our drills to fit everyone, from beginners to our most advanced players.
